ABOUT
I’m Carla and I recently completed an MFA in Interaction (4D) Design at Cranbrook Academy of Art, where I also worked as department assistant and international representative. I graduated with a BS in Industrial Design from Virginia Tech in 2023. While working on my undergraduate senior thesis Soltic, I discovered a passion for lighting and interaction design. My work is an attempt to reconcile technology with a desire to slow down in a fast-paced world. Through design, I create sensory experiences that enforce awareness of our surroundings, and modify our perception of spaces and our behavior within them.
